Asylums – I’ve Seen Your Face In A Music Magazine (One track a day 01/11/14)

Southend-on-Sea newcomers Asylums set up their own label Cool Things Records to self release their own material and stuff from local bands too. They’re off to a flying start with ‘I’ve Seen Your Face In A Music Magazine’, a short track packed full of 90’s indie pop hooks and fuzzy guitar influences from 1980’s America. Put brilliantly by Dave Rowntree (Blur drummer) – ‘Asylums are like Blur if they’d grown up in Seattle and signed to Sub Pop’. Stream Below.
